Designed purely for the NHRA, PDRA and Outlaw Promod racing categories, the Noonan 2.6 Spread lifter bore engine block coupled with the specifically paired 2.6” Spread lifter bore cylinder heads, delivers the next level in ultimate performance.
This engine block combination still retains the same revolutionary internal features as our front oil pump location block; including internal webbing which provides greater rigidity and less flex for more power; while a one inch sleeve register ensures cylinder bore stability under pressure, which equals to a better ring seal. A wider pan rail means that when things go wrong, less damage is incurred and any required repairs are easier; while a Deck Face O-Ring provides a better gasket seal for reduced oil leakage without a need for silicone.
The Noonan Hemi Engine block is manufactured from forged 6061 T6 Billet and heat-treated for strength and increased block life. The block resorts back to the conventional 90 degree, ½” side bolts and maintains additional drain back drillings mean less oil is retained in the top end, with oil being returned to the sump or tank for increased reliability for your motor combo.
A Noonan specific front cover is required whilst the gear drive is made up of standard off the shelf RCD components.
