Lindberg clinched the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series World Championship in Top Alcohol Funny Car, while Joey Severance locked up his second Top Alcohol Dragster world championship.

Lindberg has five wins on the season in six final rounds including four at national events, and has previously won a world championship while powered by Noonan Ultimate Race Engineering.

“For the past two seasons, I've won the NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car championship and set the national e.t. record at 5.36 seconds using the billet cylinder heads and top-end package from Noonan Race Engineering. Our team came from Sweden to compete against the best racers in the world. To be the best, we know that we have to run the best parts. That's why we rely on Noonan," said Jonnie Lindberg, driver and tuner of the Landmeco Top Alcohol Funny Car

Severance has taken his second world championship using the Noonan Ultimate Race Engineering manifold to pan engine power plant.

“We were able to win the 2016 NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster championship after installing the complete Noonan Ultimate Race Engineering package this spring. It's been a winning combination, because Noonan puts the same kind of thought and detail into the engineering of blocks, heads, manifolds, and components as we do into the preparation of our dragster," said Joey Severance, driver of the J&A Service Top Alcohol Dragster.

Noonan Ultimate Race Engineering is one of Australia's premier race engine building and development facilities and a world front runner in billet component innovation, and recently opened a US location.
