Based around the original Chrysler architecture and aimed purely at the various Alcohol Hemi racing categories, the Noonan Hemi billet engine block has been designed to deliver greater strength in key areas while remaining light-weight.
The Noonan Hemi Engine block is manufactured from forged 6061 T6 Billet and heat-treated for strength and increased block life. Thirty degree 1/2” splayed side
bolts on all five journals improve strength and reduce the shear-load on side bolts, supplying even loading across the bearing surface while the main studs and main caps are less likely to fail, delivering increased bearing life.
Internal webbing provides greater rigidity and less flex for more power; while a one inch sleeve register ensures cylinder bore stability under pressure, which equals to a better ring seal. A wider pan rail means that when things go wrong, less damage is incurred and any required repairs are easier; while a Deck Face O-Ring provides a better gasket seal for reduced oil leakage without a need for silicone.
The block also incorporates a gear-driven oil pump, allowing racers to choose to run the mag drive from the oil pump location for lower hood clearance and
increased aerodynamics. Additional drain back drillings mean less oil is retained in the top end, with oil being returned to the sump or tank for increased reliability for your motor combo.
